Citizens Advice North Somerset
We provide free, confidential and independent advice to people living and working in North Somerset.
People come to us with all sorts of issues. You may have money, benefit, housing or employment problems. You may be facing a crisis, or just considering your options.
We also campaign to improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives.
We are part of the national Citizens Advice network across England and Wales.
Volunteer with us
Our volunteers come from all sorts of backgrounds and help with everything we do. Could you join them?
You’ll get 100% support, full training and your expenses paid. We are committed to equal opportunities for our workers and clients, and welcome volunteers regardless of race, gender, sexuality or disabilities.
We still have some places left on our next Adviser Training Programme starting in October. Contact us to find out more and book a place on our Information Morning.
Research and campaigns
We campaign around issues affecting the local community by involving our clients and local residents to help identify issues that affect them.
You can help us by reading our policy research work, finding out about the impact of our advice and supporting our campaigns.
We need your help
Your donations will help us to keep giving advice for free.
Last year we:
- helped 8,061 people
- dealt with 22,816 individual problems
- gained £7.9m in unclaimed benefits
