How you can support us
We're a local charity dependent on local funding. There are several ways you can help us:
Volunteers who help our clients are at the heart of our service and we could not manage without them.
Volunteers receive full training in the skills needed to help people deal with their problems. There are a variety of roles available including receptionist, admin support, fundraising, adviser, and trustee.
Please note that due to the nature of our work, we are unable to accept volunteers under the age of eighteen.
We are not accepting new volunteers for the time being as we are moving premises. We will post on this page when this situation changes.
Work with us
We are committed to equality and diversity and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
We have no vacancies at present.
- Click here for a list of available vacancies at other Citizens Advice offices in England and Wales.
Research and campaigns
We campaign around issues affecting the local community by involving our clients and local residents in helping to identify issues that affect them.
We have produced a short video which explains research and campaigns in more detail.
You can help us by:
- reading our policy research work
- finding out about the impact of our advice
- supporting our campaigns
