Advice by Email
You can use our email form to ask for advice about an issue. Please note you do not need to request an appointment to attend one of our general advice services as these are conducted on a drop in basis.
When completing the email form, please include as much detail as you can about your issues and any relevant personal circumstances. This will enable us to provide you with information and advice that is relevant to your circumstances.
Please note we are unable to provide email advice to anybody who lives and/or works outside North Somerset.
We aim to respond to email enquiries within three working days. If you have an emergency, require advice more quickly or should you wish to remain anonymous, we would invite you to attend one of our drop in sessions or to call our Adviceline on 0800 144 8848.
We need to record the personal information you provide to us to help with your enquiry. We have a legitimate interest to do this. We also need your explicit consent to record some of the information requested below, including your ethnicity, religion, health conditions, sexual orientation and trade union membership. We have asked for this consent when you complete the relevant section of the form.
Please review our Information Charter if you’d like more information about how we’ll use your data.
Internet email is a way of making general enquiries but it is not a secure way to send personal information. We make every effort to ensure the security and integrity of emails on our systems. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information after we’ve received it, we cannot ensure or guarantee the security of information when it is being transmitted.
